How do Arts Educators and Artist relate in the community?
Art educators create their own community, they create a safe space where people are free to express themselves and be their 100% true self. Art educators allow all students to feel a part of something and the students have a place where they can fit in. Art is a form of communication, it gives us the opportunity to appreciate another’s person viewpoint and are own. Not only is art great for communication, culture, education, but it also has a healing power. Mental health is a major concern for the younger population. Art therapy can be used for creative youth development and expression, and helping improve someone’s mental health. What artists have to say plays an important role into our society.
